What to Know About Hitomi Tanaka
Early Life and Family Background
Hitomi grew up in Kumamoto Prefecture, on the island of Kyushu in southern Japan. Yamaga, the city where she was born, sits in that same prefecture.
She was 20 or 21 years old when her career began in 2007, so her teen years and school days happened well before the public knew her name. She has shared very little about her childhood, her school days or her home life. Because of that, any long story about her early years from random websites should be taken lightly.
Career
Her work life started in 2007 as a gravure idol under Asahi Entertainment Group, using her real name, Tanaka Hitomi. Her first gravure video came out in November 2007. In 2008, she made her first adult film.
Later, she moved to a company called Production Harvesters, which was known earlier as Allure. There she changed her stage name to HITOMI. She also worked as a singer and was a member of a group called BRW108.
Her rise was fast. Her gravure work in 2007 got her noticed, and the move to adult films in 2008 made her name spread across Japan. Fans in other countries also began to search for her, which is why her name still shows up so often in search results today.
In 2019, she received the Model of the Decade award. This award was given to the most popular actress of the years 2010 to 2019. Some reports also say she won the Score Model of the Year award two times. Her career ended with her retirement in 2022.

There is no confirmed public record of a husband, wife or partner. Some sites list names and love stories, but they do not show proof. She has kept her private life private, and that choice should be respected.
